First day of school

Ready or not, here it comes - day one. 

We're ready.

Summer

I know I need to post about summer. We have one week left. Last year the same thing happened. "We did so much this summer - there are so many pics to go through - I want to get it just right." Then school starts and fall creeps in and it feels too late.

I'll try to play catch up.

This is the year Luke learned to swim. So fun to take him to the pool and see him just swimming around with a friends or his sister. I don't even need to be in the water.

Tooth update

First days of summer

This first week without school

started with alphabetizing the poetry bookshelf. 

And a new, bigger bike.

And includes continuing with silks

and volunteering at the SPCA.

 

And some other stuff like making music, and putting on plays, and taking the dog out with the bikes and scooters, and eating dinner at 8pm, and operating a sandbox bakery, and making charts for all sorts of goals, and writing stories and how-to guides, and getting out the camping gear, and using the walkie-talkies, and lying in the hammock, and reading novels from the library.
