Spontaneous playdate

A friend of mine just had a baby. He came home a week ago (after two weeks in the NICU). We visited today and then brought home her daughter, who is a friend of Halina's. The girls helped rig up a pogo swing, jumped for over an hour on the trampoline (and included Luke in all that -- so sweet), and sang along with me to the Frozen soundtrack ("Let It Go"? Goosebumps.) Halina's friend went home tired and happy and her mom got to have a spacious, quiet afternoon cuddling with her little guy. One of those satisfying spontaneous-playdate days.
