On Saturday we took a bike ride to find community art and signs related to the pandemic for Halina's scrapbook. It was our Mother's Day outing, but we did it on Saturday because rain was expected for Sunday. See Halina's blog for my stylish bandana look with double glasses (she did not approve).
That night, Halina started her blog and wrote a poem about me making crackers.
The next morning I got breakfast in bed and finished my novel while sipping coffee with refills.
And got some bedside entertainment.
And baked more bread.
The kids also made me a video of things to do while sheltering in place, which I'll try to link to later. Those two can whip up a stealthy, well-edited video like nobody's business. It definitely made me smile and giggle (great ideas in there, too).
Thank you for a great Mother's Day weekend. I felt super loved up and grateful to spend it with you.
