Up late helping Halina with a nosebleed tonight. Not an emergency, but Googling webMD. It ends up everything I thought knew was wrong:  you should sit up, lean forward, pinch the soft part of your nose, and do not pack it with tissue. She listened to some of Jessica’s podcast while pinching for a full 10 minutes, as advised. Then 10 minutes of the intentionally sleep-inducing Nothing Much Happens - Bedtime Stories for Adults podcast, which we both find semi-soothing, semi-interesting. I tiptoed downstairs to write this.

Nothing much happened today here either. In a nice way. Luke filmed all his stop motion scenes for his Book Buzz project. Halina gave a presentation with Bea in class, via Zoom of course. And it went great, even though she woke up 5 minutes before. It rained. I didn’t take many photos today, so I’m including some from last week’s rainy day, too. And a still life from a unintented shot this morning of the kitchen countertop, which was accidentally beautiful in an everyday way.
